ManyChat alternative: comment-to-DM with an AI agent

ViewPrinter does not automate comment-to-DM for you: it tells your AI agent the moment a comment arrives, and your agent does it. That means any automation you can describe, at a cost you control by choosing the agent, instead of ManyChat’s price per person. ManyChat’s pricing in full, and when it is still the better pick.

The automation most people buy ManyChat for is comment-to-DM: someone comments a keyword, they get a DM with the link, and the comment gets a public “check your DMs”. ManyChat runs that for you: you build the flow in its builder, it sends the messages, and it bills you for every person it talks to.

ViewPrinter does not automate it for you, and that is the point. It tells your AI agent the moment a comment or DM arrives and gives it the tools to answer. Your agent does the automating.

Why we leave it to your agent

Any automation, not just the ones in a builder. A flow builder can do what it has a block for. An agent does what you can describe. The same instructions that send the link to someone who comments “LINK” can also answer the question about price, tell you about the complaint you should see yourself, leave alone the people arguing with each other, and save a good comment as an idea for your next post. “Where do I get it?” and “link pls” are caught without listing every spelling, and changing the rules is editing a paragraph.

You control the cost. ViewPrinter is $19 a month for 15 accounts, and nothing in it is counted per person. The replying is done by the agent you choose, at whatever that agent costs: one you already pay for, or one priced for your volume. A post that goes viral does not change ViewPrinter’s price, and what the extra replies cost is up to the agent you picked. On ManyChat, every extra person is on the bill.

  • The same agent posts. ViewPrinter also schedules and publishes to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X and Facebook, so one agent handles the post and the replies to it.
  • It tells you what it did. Every reply, or every skip, lands in your chat with the agent.

What ManyChat costs

ManyChat prices by active contacts: each person you message, or who messages you, in a month. Every plan includes some, and each one over is billed.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billingContacts includedEach extra contact (monthly)
Free$0$025n/a
Essential$17/mo$14/mo250$0.10
Pro$39/mo$29/mo2,500$0.05
Business$99/mo$69/mo7,500$0.025
Advanced$199/mo$139/mo25,000$0.004

From ManyChat’s pricing page, read 2 October 2026. Annual plans bill extra contacts at lower rates.

So a post that pulls 5,000 commenters in a month, each sent the link, costs $39 plus 2,500 extra contacts at $0.05 on Pro: $164 for that month. Business, at $99, covers it. A post that does well costs more the better it does.

When ManyChat is the better pick

You would rather not run an agent at all, and want a visual flow builder that does the work for you. You need WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS or email, which ManyChat covers and ViewPrinter does not. You run broadcasts to people who have messaged you, or a team inbox with assignments. Or your volume is small: ManyChat’s free plan covers 25 people a month with no card.

The same rules apply to both

Instagram allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days of it. Anything after that only once the person writes back, and within 24 hours of their message. ManyChat and an agent work under exactly the same limits, so the link belongs in the first DM.
