How to post to social media with Claude

Can Claude post on social media? Not by itself — Claude has no built-in way to publish anywhere. It needs a connector that holds your accounts. With ViewPrinter connected, Claude can post and schedule to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X and Facebook, cancel what is queued, and tell you how each post did.

ViewPrinter is listed in the Claude directory, which makes this the shortest setup on the site: open the listing, connect, sign in. From then on Claude can see your connected accounts and post to them.

Does Claude have access to Instagram?

Not by default. Claude reaches outside services through connectors, and it needs one that holds your Instagram account before it can post there. On paid plans, Claude in Chrome can click through instagram.com in your own browser, but that is Claude working the website, not a connection to your account.

Instagram only lets apps publish to professional accounts, Business or Creator. A personal account cannot be connected. You switch under Account type and tools in Instagram’s settings, and a private account becomes public when it does. ViewPrinter connects through Instagram’s own sign-in, so the account does not need a Facebook Page.

What Claude can post

• Reels, from one video. A Reel can stay in the Reels tab only, take a custom cover, or go out as a trial reel that non-followers see first.
• Feed photos, and carousels of two to ten images.
• Stories, from one photo or one video.
• Any of these at a set time. The post goes out on schedule whether or not the chat is still open.

What else it can do

Read the comments on your posts and the DMs sent to your account, and answer them in your account’s name. Instagram allows a DM reply within 24 hours of the person’s last message. An account connected before October 2026 needs reconnecting once to allow this.

What it cannot do

It acts on your own connected accounts only. It cannot browse other profiles or your feed.

Can Claude post to TikTok?

Yes. Claude uploads the video or photos and ViewPrinter publishes them through TikTok’s official API, then reads back views and likes.

What Claude can post

• Videos up to ten minutes, within your account’s own limit: TikTok gives every creator three minutes and some five or ten.
• Photo posts of up to 35 images.
• Posts for everyone, friends, followers or only you, within what your TikTok account allows.
• Comments, Duets and Stitches switched off for a post.
• The AI-generated label on videos, and the paid-partnership and own-brand disclosures.
• Photo posts sent to your TikTok drafts instead, to finish in the app. Videos are posted directly.

Then connect your accounts

In the ViewPrinter dashboard, connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X or Facebook through each platform’s own sign-in. Claude never sees a platform password; it gets a token scoped to ViewPrinter’s tools.
